A couple of days ago I ventured out on a walk on one of the Legacy parkway trails. The view out there is awesome and it feels so far away from the city, although I could be downtown in about 15 minutes.  I snapped a lot of pictures, but this is one of my favorites.

My tip: Look at ordinary things differently. Shoot from a different angle, even if it’s just slightly tilted. And don’t forget to check out Love that Shot.

Each week at Love That Shot they host a link-up for photogs to share their favorite shot of the week. My goal for September is to participate each week. (This is my first time.) And this is one of my favorite shots from my recent HS senior sessions. Unposed, trying to get her to gaze into his eyes a bit and instead I got this sweet, happy moment that is even more perfect that anything I could have planned.

My Tip:
Watch for the in between moments, sometimes that is when the magic happens.
