First Family Session of the Spring

IMG_0102-vintage-FB

When you schedule a portrait session for April 10th you would think that you’d get a nice Spring day with blooming trees and flowers and maybe even some green grass in the background. But not always the case in Utah. Instead I can’t tell for sure if these pictures were taken in November or April. And I sit here writing this post on April 30th watching the snow fall outside my window. Sometimes I feel that I live in Michigan or Montana or some other more northern state. Spring is fickle in Utah but when it does arrive and decide to stay, it is beautiful.

In spite of the weather we had a great session. In between poses everyone put their jackets back on and we’d get hopeful everytime the sun would peek from behind the clouds. Have fun on your mission Zak!!

Check out this session of Shila, Jordan, and Aiden at the Great Salt Lake.

My Girls….

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I took a few shots of my girls before some sessions at Wheeler Farm. I know I’m baised but I think they are absolutely beautiful. Now that my kids are grown it’s hard to get pictures (or even time) with them all together. It seems I’m always missing one, and this day we were missing the Daniel. Time to gather them all together for some updated pictures. I just love taking pictures of my kids. And everyone knows how I feel about pictures of my grandbaby. :)

The “H” Family – Sneek Peek

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Just a little sneek peek. Last weekend we had an awesome family session and a great time at the Farm…well at least I can vouch for my great time. :)   These two girls are loads of fun. I’m glad that I wore my bright red spider necklace so they had something to look at on me…their faces would just light up when we asked them where the spider was. They both even modeled a couple of spiders in their hair….I’ll post a couple of those pictures in a few days.
