Love That Shot – link up

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

A couple of days ago I ventured out on a walk on one of the Legacy parkway trails. The view out there is awesome and it feels so far away from the city, although I could be downtown in about 15 minutes.  I snapped a lot of pictures, but this is one of my favorites.

My tip: Look at ordinary things differently. Shoot from a different angle, even if it’s just slightly tilted. And don’t forget to check out Love that Shot.

Sweet Shot Tuesday – link up

9-14

This is my first submission to Darcy’s Sweet Shot Tuesday. When I started going through my shots from the two Miss K’s senior sessions this past week, this was the first one that I just loved. For me it is truly sweet. I’ve been practicing shooting on manual and doing some new things with my settings and this is pretty much straight out of camera. All of you photogs out there will understand how happy I was that my exposure was in that “sweet” spot. And hopefully, all the non-photogs will still think it’s pretty sweet. One of my cousins comments on this pic on Facebook was that she looks so serene and like she has life all figured out. I like that.

Part two of my South Sevier senior session. I’ve already been nostalgic about my high school, so I’ll skip all that is post. :) Family + hometown + photo session = fun, fun, fun! Both of these beautiful SSHS seniors are family and I’m lucky to have gotten to take some pictures of them. Thanks girls!!!
